What is the Collector Cave’s Return and Exchange Policy?


Unopened items: We are happy to assist you with returning and exchanging unopened items. This includes unopened case sales. If a case has been opened, it cannot be returned. Any unopened new or vintage item must be returned within 14 days of the delivered shipping date. Any loose item must be returned within 7 days of the delivered shipping date. This date is based on the shipping status being marked delivered by the courier, not the date of order placement or payment. NYCollector Cave will refund you the entire purchase price of any unopened new or vintage item (shipping fees to and from NYCollector Cave will not be refunded). Refunds will be issued after we have received the item, in the form of store credit or the original method of payment. Items must be packed inside a shipping box with sufficient protection. If the product is not in original condition, the refund will be LESS. Any vintage or loose item will be refunded as store credit only. All comic books that are CGC graded are final sales and not refundable (These comics are meant to be kept in the plastic case and have been graded by professionals, should a customer open the plastic casing there is nothing we can do.). Opened Items: Opened items or any products that have had the factory seal removed, or where there is clear evidence the product packaging has been opened or tampered with, will not be refunded.


Defective items: If you receive any item that has a manufacturer's defect we are happy to exchange it. Please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. This date is based on the shipping status being marked delivered by courier, not the date of order placement or payment. NYCollector Cave will cover all shipping fees to and from our warehouse on defective items. Shipping fees for international customers will be refunded in the form of store credit only. Defective items may only be exchanged for the same item. If we no longer have an item in stock we will issue a refund in the original method of payment. Vintage items no longer in stock will be issued a refund in store credit. This excludes all comic book and loose items.


We are NOT able to accept any figure(s) or item(s) that have been disassembled or modified in any way, due to the overall quality and integrity being compromised.

What is the Collector Caves Cancellation Policy?


Orders may be canceled within 2 days of the order confirmation. This is based on the order confirmation date, not the date of product purchase or payment. No cancellations will be accepted after 2 days of the product purchase. PRE-ORDERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR CANCELLATION OF ANY KIND, ALL PRE-ORDERS ARE FINAL!


This policy applies only to items that have not yet shipped.


When will my order ship?


Please allow 2 to 3 business days for your order to leave our warehouse for shipping. Remember that Media Mail, Priority Mail and Standard Mail are types of USPS Shipping Methods. It does not mean that your order will be expedited within the warehouse. All shipments will be packed with extreme caution.



When will I have to pay for my Pre-order?


Immediately upon ordering. Once the shipment has arrived, we will send you an email notifying you and later update you when we have shipped your item. In the case of a cancellation please see our cancellation policy.



Why should I Pre-order an item?


When you place a pre-order with NYCollector Cave, we will reserve that item for you from our incoming shipment. In some cases our shipments pre-sellout so only customers who pre-order with us are able to receive the items due to us not having any extra stock to list for normal 'in-stock' sales. All pre-orders ship 2-3 business days after the individual items release date. (Unless we receive the item after its release date.)



Can I cancel a Pre-order?


Unfortunately any items that are purchased as a pre-order do not qualify for refunds, exchanges, and/or cancellations. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause but this is our new policy. PRE-ORDERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR CANCELLATION OF ANY KIND, ALL PRE-ORDERS ARE FINAL!

Our Website is hosted on Adobe's Business-Systems servers. All transactions on our Website are processed through a PayPal Business solutions gateway, and are up to standard PCI Compliance .
